It's a simple premise. Find the best writing teachers in the country, pay them very well, and place high expectations on them to get the most out of the students they serve.

The research shows our best teachers are National Board Certified teachers. They have demonstrated their effectiveness through rigorous, standards-based assessment and vetting. In fact, only 3% of the nation's teachers are National Board Certified, and of these, only a few make it through our own rigorous selection process.

Sadly, these extraordinary teachers are usually underpaid, often earning the same as their uncertified peers. Paying these teachers well is a sign of respect, but it is also a measure that ensures that our instructors give everything they can to our Foundation EDU student writers.

And our instructors are evaluated every week during the course by our parents and students to ensure that all stakeholders are satisfied with the experience.
